Research Services
Being a recognized R&D unit with a strong technical team lead by experienced researchers, we can offer starter cultures, technology transfer of our existing product lines and contract research services to other Tissue Culture Production Units (TCPU’s) and other commercial organisations.
We also offer services to develop protocols for Micro-propagation of economically important crops. We are currently offering proven micropropagation protocols up to ex-agar or ready-to-plant stage for any variety.
The typical steps followed are:
- Isolation of high yielding varieties
- Rapid multiplication of selected plants through tissue culture technology
- Field trials of the multiplied varieties
- Supply the plant to the farmers for large-scale cultivation
